Junior Knolly Lewis (decreased) was an artist. The father of two artists daughters (Cleo and Junnel Lewis). He worked at the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) and entered the calypso competitions at WASA. A few years before he died, he made these two scriptures: The Drum Man and The Dancer.
The Drum Man
This piece is about a male drummer playing his djembe drum (made of animal skin) with his bare hands at Carnival time.
The Dancer
The woman used her dancing skills while listening to the beat of his drum. This is part of our culture in Trinidad and Tobago from African heritage.
